Help Others Give Back - Join the Volunteer Intake Processing Center (VIPC)

Every day the American Red Cross receives an average of 500 new volunteer applications!  As a Volunteer Intake Processing Center (VIPC) volunteer you will help us ensure these new volunteers receive a warm welcome and the support they need.

Volunteers in the VIP Center provide a friendly voice to help our newest team members in completing the steps they need to become a member of the Red Cross team.

VIPC is Virtual
The work of the VIPC can be done from anywhere with an internet connection.  Perfect for those who want to work from home.

VIPC is Simple
No special skills needed.  Anyone who enjoys talking to others, is comfortable on the phone, and has basic computer skills can do this work with minimal training.  Perfect for those with a customer service background.

VIPC is Flexible
The schedule is incredibly flexible and can be done most any time or day of the week.  Perfect for those who have varied schedules.

Career Path and Leadership Opportunities
As a VIPC volunteer you have multiple opportunities to expand your skills.
VIPC Helpline - Help answer questions from volunteers completing their steps.
Hotshot Team - During a disaster help volunteers complete their application so they can mobilize to provide disaster relief.
