Heart of Tennessee Volunteers:

This quote resonated with me this week. I do believe that we are incredibly fortunate
to find our gifts and even more fortunate to share those gifts with
others. This is what you collectively do
with the American Red Cross, but also in so many other areas of your lives. You so generously share your most precious
asset with us: your time. You roll up
your sleeves and donate blood, giving the gift of life to our neighbors. You share your time to respond to serve our
neighbors impacted by a disaster. You
staff our front desk, making every person that enters our building feel engaged
and comfortable. You help maintain our
fleet. You assist us with events and
record keeping. You walk in the front
door and ask what you can do today to help the staff. I hope you know that we could not move our
mission forward without each of you and the time you invest in this chapter.
