Disaster
Action Team (DAT) members from across the state have responded to the
devastating fires in California that consumed more than 2,500 homes and are
presently deployed to provide assistance in the South Carolina floods.
At the
Mid-West Tennessee Chapter, we are building strong DAT teams in the fourteen
counties we serve, but our work is not over.
I would like to ask all of our volunteers to assist us in completing
this project. If you know of someone who
might be interested or that you feel would be an asset to our chapter, please
give us a call and we will be glad to reach out to them.
Another goal
for our chapter is to increase public awareness through participation in
community events. If you have an event
you would like for Red Cross to participate in, please call the Mid- West TN
Chapter office at 731-427-5543 and pass along the information.
